SOLD: vintage 531 Holdsworth Special (50cm)

Cherished from new by it’s previous owner (a good friend) this 1982 Holdsworth Special has a good few miles and lots of stories under its svelte belt. Bought as a frameset then built up with various parts – as was the norm for many club riders at the time – this vintage thoroughbred has just had a day of pampering & tweaking in our workshop to bring it up to roadworthy condition after sitting idle in a Northamptonshire garage for a few years.

It’s unrestored but has been well maintained throughout it’s life – just how you want to find a classic bike :) Made of butted Reynolds 531 tubing throughout and very hard to find in Holdsworth’s smallest size, this is a solid investment and an absolute pleasure to ride and behold with classic 73 degree square geometry balancing it perfectly between speed and comfort.
