Stop looking for an affordable, comfy bike in excellent condition as I have just the thing for you…

A whole lotta bike for the money, this well-appointed Specialized Expedition Elite is a truly utilitarian bicycle for recreational riding, commuting, shopping & tow path bimbles.  It’s the most comfortable bike I’ve ever ridden due to the combined cushioning effect of its puncture resistant fat tyres, Ergon-style grips, wide sprung saddle, suspension forks & seatpost.

While the full length mudguards & chainguard ensure you stay as clean & dry as possible, the ride is very stable due to it’s long wheelbase, laid back geometry & upright riding position.  Suitable for towing a trailer, mounting a child seat or just piling it with panniers full of supplies, it’ll even cope with a little light off-roading.

The bike has been lovingly stripped, rebuilt and fully serviced in my workshop, with a new chain and some new gear cables & brakes pads fitted. It’s super clean and ready for anything you could possibly throw at it with it’s wide gear range and solid brakes.  Due to the bike’s low standover design and adjustability it’s also suitable for a very wide height range.  Think of it as the family estate car of the bicycle world… an indispensable workhorse that’s good-natured and easy to love.
