Hubs are at the centre of wheels and consist of an axle supported by bearings, plus a shell from which spokes connect to the wheel rim.  Hubs are secured in the frame using either quick release skewers, nuts or bolts depending on the type of axle.  Freehubs are used to mount sprockets on cassette hubs; some freehubs can be replaced.

Prices do not include postage, contact if you’re interested.

Lots more hubs & spares in stock – skewers, axles, track nuts, locknuts, cones, spacers, seals – just ask.

Internal geared hubs at the Sturmey-Archer page, or contact Dead Rats Cycles to discuss wheelbuilding.

All items are in very good used condition unless otherwise stated, and are listed in order of price – high to low.
