The right hand lever is compatible with 9 speed rear SIS road or MTB components, and also works with 8 speed 7400 series Dura-Ace rear derailleurs
Right hand lever can also can be switched to ‘friction’ mode (non-indexed) for use with set-ups different to those stated above (eg non SIS, non 9 speed)
The left hand lever is friction only, for double or triple chainsets and works with almost any front derailleur
Ideal for touring, time-trial, dirt drop MTB etc.
These shifters can also be adapted for use as thumbshifters with aftermarket clamps, eg Pauls
