Been looking to build up a cyclocross bike / all-terrain tourer for a few months and when a customer offered their Cube frameset at a fair price I thought “well, a carbon fork would be nice but with its disc mounts, 40mm+ tyre clearance and rack/mudguard mounts this otherwise ticks all the boxes”. Off the peg, when it was new about 3 years back, this particular Cube LTD was a flat bar hybrid but now the only stock parts on my version are the frame, fork and headset. Major upgrades and lots of careful fettling later, here’s my build on its first test run… 🙂
