Just in for a makeover and basic service, a lovely 1984 Peugeot 12 speed…
OK so, after much deliberation with the Peugeot’s owner, we have a plan… seems a shame to hack the rare OE bars & stem with their 25.0mm clamp so the new parts include a NOS 50mm ITM quill stem (sanded down from 22.2mm to 22.0 to suit the forks) clamped around a Charge Slice bullhorn bar with limited edition silver/silver Tektro RL720 brake levers ordered specially from Germany! We suggested time trial levers but the owner had a very specific look in mind with cross tops mounted at the ends. Finishing touches will include white cables, Ambrosio bar tape and BBB screw-in chrome bar end plugs with NOS Wellgo rat-trap pedals and a lovely Madison Breeze saddle. Rest of the bike stays stock for time being 🙂
