Gorgeous vintage steel ladies British 3 speed bicycle up for sale in stunning original condition!

Resplendent in metallic lilac paintwork with perfect transfers, the Raleigh’s clearly had little use and been well cared for over the past 28 years. With lashings of freshly polished chrome and the authentic ’80s style you can’t buy new, this is a commuter friendly and increasingly collectible classic…

Utilising Raleigh’s iconic 21″ loop frame, this Lady has been treated to a full day of TLC in the workshop. Featuring a timeless 3 speed Sturmey-Archer hub gear system, the Chiltern is also stylishly equipped with factory spec luggage rack, kickstand, colour-coded chainguard & full length mudguards, plus white saddle with matching tyres, shifter, pedals, cable housing & handlebar grips.

Similar models may be found cheaper elsewhere online, but none appear to be as low mileage, pristine and original as this one. Also, just a few years after this beauty was built in Nottingham, Raleigh regrettably transferred their manufacturing overseas. Subsequently these later, lower quality bikes were more cheaply built to less exacting standards – and are simply not as stylish or collectable.
