Richard’s lovely Vindec roadster, pictured on test after a lengthy rebuild. A fantastic project that puts his Grandfather’s beloved bike back on the road. As much of the original bike was used as possible, with a few exceptions in order to make the bike more usable on today’s roads. The original wheels were shot so a later pair have been mounted, along with a few parts donated by a similar bike of the exact same year, plus new tyres, cables, chain & pads – and a vintage Brooks B66 from my own stash. The bike’s also had a subtle conversion from rod to caliper brakes (huge thanks to my friend Fred, for your help with that).
