Drop bar Pace RC-200-F2

Never a man to turn down the offer of building a drop bar early Pace with an eclectic period-ish spec harvested from an enviable parts-bin, I humbly present Neil’s work-in-progress RC-200-F2… in which the retro futuristic frame drips with early Hope, a Ti Flite, unusual CNC cranks and Sunrise Mavic rims with blingy nipples – not to mention the wide VO drops (sacrilege)!  Improvements may include NOS Panaracer Smoke/Dart tyres, better chainrings and a nicer cassette, plus I yearn for fully wrapped gear cable housings despite the lengthy inners entailed by such schemes.  Originally there was talk of more Mavic (crankset/BB/rear mech) and a pair of Kelly Take-Offs, but that sadly never happened chiefly because the frame requires such a wide BB spindle (cue the Royce) and 9s Shimano is so reliably simple…
