This beautiful leather item – stamped J.B. BROOKS & Co. LTD 1943 – was given to me by my father a few years ago. Designed to be strapped to the top & seat tube for storing tools and featuring a neat little latch, it was made in Birmingham the same year Dad was born. After a bit of TLC it’s looking pretty good for a 74 year old.
