Stylish vintage ladies Dutch roadster from the 1960s in lovely condition after a complete rebuild here at Dead Rats Cycles. The frame’s paintwork and decals cleaned up beautifully while maintaining some delicious patina, and the mudguards and rear carrier have been refinished in an understated matt black. I chose to convert the bike from a single-speed with coaster rear brake into a lighter and more practical three-speed with aluminium rims and caliper brakes front & rear. Along with obligatory new tyres, cables, brake pads, cotter pins and chain, the bike also benefits from appropriate new brake levers & cable clips, Dutch-made bell, saddle, pump and pedals. However the headset, handlebars, chainset, bottom bracket, seatpost, grips and wheel lock are retained from the original bike after some thorough restorative work.
