Top-of-the-range steel 59.5cm racing bike from Raleigh’s Lightweight Division in incredible original condition, check out the 1990 catalogue here. A low mileage example of this rare thoroughbred classic in perfect working order! Originally bought in The Netherlands and ridden very little since, the Dyna-Tech is based around a strong, lightweight race-proven steel frameset with stunning original paintwork and decals. The frame’s tubing level is equivalent to Reynolds 653 and plays host to a complete and immaculate Shimano 6400 / Ultegra ‘Tri-Colour’ groupset (with 14 speed SIS drivetrain, SLR brakes and matching hubs, headset, and seatpost) finished with mint 3TTT bars & stem, Shimano A550 aero pedals and a beautiful period San Marco Rolls leather saddle.
After purchasing this Dyna-Tech from a collector – only its second owner from new – the bike was thoroughly detailed and tuned here at Dead Rats Cycles with new inner cables, bar tape, New Old Stock period correct Michelin folding race tyres, and New Old Stock Milremo bar end plugs. It also has a mint condition chain and 7 speed cassette with much more usable 12-28 ratio than the original 13-23. An absolute work of racing bike art, ready for big, fast mileage – and almost impossible to find in such immaculate condition!
