This afternoon’s detail and dail job was to get Peter’s fantastic custom Chickens Frame Emporium randonneur ready for this weekend’s ride. Around four hours of fettling brought the one-off build back to shop standard, as shown in the final photo. The 1950s French style low-trail frame is just a couple of years old and is built from fillet-brazed Columbus tubing with 650b wheels and a host of nice kit including 9 speed Dura-Ace shifters and rear derailleur, Compass centrepull brakes with Kool Stop pads, Panaracer tyres, San Marco Regal saddle, Rene Herse crankset and Nitto finishing kit.
