Chickens 650B Randonneur

This afternoon’s detail and dail job was to get Peter’s fantastic custom Chickens Frame Emporium randonneur ready for this weekend’s ride.  Around four hours of fettling brought the one-off build back to shop standard, as shown in the final photo.  The 1950s French style low-trail frame is just a couple of years old and is built from fillet-brazed Columbus tubing with 650b wheels and a host of nice kit including 9 speed Dura-Ace shifters and rear derailleur, Compass centrepull brakes with Kool Stop pads, Panaracer tyres, San Marco Regal saddle, Rene Herse crankset and Nitto finishing kit.
