Custom restoration for Rab up in Scotland. Fresh respray with new decals (based on earlier model at owner’s request) plus original Muddy Fox tyres and grips (and reflectors, not yet refitted). Restored original wheels with new stainless spokes, restored brakes and drivetrain with new chain and cables. NOS Kalloy seatpost and new Nitto Bullmoose bar/stem.
A Specialized collision came about recently when John brought in a 2006 Rockhopper for a service quote and I discovered a crack in the aluminium frame. A shame but as the bike, a 15 year old whippersnapper, was in otherwise pretty good condition I felt it would make a decent donor bike. Turns out that
